What you are about to read is what most fitness gurus
are afraid to tell you. It is because they may lose a lot of money if
they'll tell you the truth. For some reason many of these fitness gurus
don't actually know what they're doing. They feed people with loads of
crap that doesn't seem to work at all. Most of them sell you tons and
tons of weight loss training materials and even expensive workout
equipment that look so ridiculous. I had my share of mishaps by buying
into what they say and if you keep on listening to them you'll
eventually lose a lot of cash.
So let's get down to business. Here are some fallacies that most fitness gurus tell you.
1. Running on a treadmill can help you lose weight
Yes
it can help you lose weight but entirely the process will be so slow.
Prolonged running or cardiovascular exercises may help you lose weight
but it's on a very minimal level. The science behind it is that, as you
keep on doing it, your body begins to adjust which means that you'll
eventually sweat slower as you keep on going. Though it may help you
improve your respiration but overall losing weight by means of running
will not do you that much good. Aside from that, this kind of exercise
eats a lot of your muscle fiber. If you'll take a look at marathon
runners, you'll see that their muscles lack in tone.
2. You have to stop eating your favorite food
Inhibiting
yourself from eating ice cream or chocolate cake will not help you lose
weight. A good diet program is something that allows you to eat the
food that you love to eat though at a lesser amount. If you'll stop
yourself from eating your favorite type of food it will only lead to
more cravings later on and when it comes to the point where you can't
hold it anymore, you'll eventually succumb to it and eat a lot. A good
diet program should allow you to eat food that you really love because
otherwise it will lead depression and can also lead to emotional eating
later on.
3. Weight loss supplements are for people who are desperate
Usually
people who sell you loads of weight loss training materials and courses
would oftentimes tell you not to use weight loss supplements because
they believe that those are only for people who are desperate. That's
not true!
Weight loss supplements are actually there to help you
lose weight even faster. Let's just say you're paying someone to train
you per session. Now the number of session you'll have with him will
depend on the success of your weight loss journey. If you use weight
loss supplements, tendency is that you will achieve weight loss success
in a shorter amount of time. What does it mean for the person you're
paying per session? Of course, he will have less money to ask from you.
Plain and simple isn't it?
There are tons more of crap that many
fitness experts tell you in order to gain more profit. Technically, you
only have to look at it on bigger picture and do a little research in
order to lose weight in just a short amount of time with less money out
of your pocket.
